11 July 2018
The first of two Transition to Practice (TTP) sessions was held in Hobart on Tuesday 10 July 2018 at CCAMLR.
Attended by almost 100 soon to graduate nursing students, this event was a huge success and well received. Students heard from a number of speakers, including Organisers from the ANMF, the University of Tasmania Honours program and Workforce Representatives from; Royal Hobart Hospital, Calvary Private Hospital and Aged Care Services Tasmania.
The focus of the session was workforce readiness and ensuring that nursing students are aware of the options available to them as well are preparedness for the application and interview processes involved in transitioning into the workforce.
Thank you to Angela Vincent CPD Co-ordinator from the ANMF for emceeing the event and our sponsors; HESTA, NURSEline, ME Bank and Tasplan.
