This workshop explores the underpinning theory and techniques of venous access and cannulation. From here, participants will have practical time to learn about the appropriate techniques for phlebotomy and cannulation, best practice, and available devices.

What to expect
During the four-hour workshop, attendees will work on simulated arms and review back to basics knowledge on the venous system and vein selection for cannulation.

Theories covered include phlebotomy and related essential knowledge, cannulation, best practice techniques, and device selection.

Enjoy getting involved in this face-to-face practical session in which participants can utilise the skills they have learned throughout the day in a simulated environment.
