What to expect
In this practical session, participants will cover:
- Back to Basics with Catheter Management and Care
- Basic anatomy and physiology
- Practical skills
- Troubleshooting inserting and managing catheters
Presenter
Alison Percy graduated as a Registered Nurse from UTAS in 2007 and has worked mostly as a Surgical nurse at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). Her background includes Plastics and Burns, Urology, Ear, Nose and Throat, and has more recently worked as a Clinical Coach for the Short Stay Suite RHH. Through the Coach position she developed a passion for teaching, which led her to study her Cert IV in Training and Assessment and an Educator job teaching an Enrolled Nursing course with HERC.
This workshop may be presented by Rebecca Ilie if required.
