This half day session is focused on building your existing skills, deepening your understanding of common clinical presentations and treatment options to better equip you in providing confident, patient-centred care.
During the half day course, you will gain skills to:
- Better interpret basic electrocardiograms
- Complete a primary and secondary survey
- Understand the mechanisms of shock
- Identify common rashes in the paediatric patient

Half day session (4 CPD hours)
This study day is a new ANMF/HERC CPD session developed specifically to address varied areas of educational interest based on suggestions from nurses in Tasmania. We will focus on completing a primary and secondary survey, along with learning to better interpret basic electrocardiograms before moving onto understanding the mechanisms of shock, and look at how to identify common rashes in paediatric patients.
