This face to face workshop is designed to meet the needs of nurse immunisers continuing professional development requirements around maintaining clinical knowledge of anaphylaxis.
Who will this benefit:
This workshop is aimed at nurse immunisers needing to complete their mandatory training on CPR and anaphylaxis management. However, it would also benefit registered nurses, enrolled nurses or midwives required to complete basic life support training and an assessment for adults, paediatrics, and infants.
What to expect:
During the workshop, participants will cover anaphylaxis recognition, management, and treatment, as well as practical training in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Anaphylaxis and the treatment and management required post immunisation will also be covered. Both topics will involve a practical component on the day.
Registrations close 16 July 2020. Registrations for this event are essential, spaces are limited due to social distancing.
This session has online and in-person requirements. Participants will be required to complete a small online session prior to attending the workshop in person.
