The Launceston General Hospital has proposed changes to the existing on call roster at the Angiography suite at the LGH. The ANMF met with members of the Angio suite on 14th April 2016 to discuss these changes and hear member concerns. The ANMF will continue to advocate for and support members through this process.

ANMF held their first meeting with ANMF representatives from the wards at the LGH with great attendance. It was excellent to meet with such a passionate number of ANMF reps, some great discussions were had and we look forward to working with you all closely through out 2016.
Members are seeking to move to rostered 10 hour night duty shifts to reduce the amount of unpaid overtime required for handover. Currently they have 15 mins morning handover, 30 min in the afternoon for handover, professional development and portfolio time, and 15 min for ND handover.
