ANMF and workplace representatives met with management to discuss workload issues on 2B Surgery. An agreement was reached at the meeting that a nurse coordinator position will be put in place in the PM shift 2 days a week, to help manage workload.

On Friday 13 May, North West organiser Marita Meadows visited sites in Wynyard and Smithton delivering merchandise and information to public and private workplaces. Marita met with nurses and carers working in rural Tasmania which included a tour of Smithton district hospital.
The ANMF are involved in consultations regarding the transfer of the James Scott Wing to May Shaw Health. ANMF have attended preliminary meetings at Scottsdale with THS & May Shaw management in conjunction with staff. ANMF will continue to consult with management to advocate for positive outcomes on behalf of our members.
