The ANMF attended a member meeting on Thursday 25 October, at this meeting members carried a resolution to escalate industrial action.

This action commenced on 29 October and members of the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Operating Room Suite (ORS) resolved to not undertake nay forced overtime for the week commencing 29 October. That lists would be reviewed around 1500hrs daily and a plan implemented to ensure that ANMF members did not work overtime. Members will work overtime to ensure patient safety in times of emergency and all category 1 patients should be scheduled first on the list.

This industrial action is a part of the ANMF Retain.Recruit.Recognise campaign.
