A teleconference bargaining meeting was held on Thursday 15 November. The meeting focused on setting out parameters for the bargaining process and current short comings in the existing Enterprise Agreement (EA) that will need to be rectified for the agreement to meet the Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) set by the Fair Work Commission (FWC).

ANMF has reissued its Log of Claims (LOC) with slight amendments that include; an additional point that the roster will be available to employees at least 7 days before the commencement of the roster period and revise Registered Nurse Level 1 rates of pay relative to Enrolled Nurse Level 2 rates.

The employer has committed to providing a draft agreement within 2 weeks that will detail existing BOOT issues with the intent of parties reconvening after this.
