A specialist panel, in line with the step 2 grievance procedure took place on 6 November.

Failure of the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) to meet the agreed terms of the specialist panel by Friday 9 November resulted on the submission of a Section 29, in line with step 3 of the grievance procedure.

A meeting will be held with members on Wednesday 14 November to provide further information in relation to this stage of the grievance procedure.

ANMF will require witnesses to speak at the commission, anyone who is interested in taking this opportunity to resolve the workload and staffing issues in Department of Psychiatry(DoP) should consider this and contact member support by phoning (03) 6223 6777 or speak to the ANMF Organisers at the meeting about how they can get involved.
