Dying to Talk Expo
The ANMF were lucky enough to attend this year’s Dying to Talk Expo held in Launceston on the 25th May. The event which is run annually by Palliative Care Tasmania is designed to open up conversation about end of life care and the tricky questions that people often have but are unsure how to answer – death, dying, ageing, grief, palliative care and home care options. Our northern organising team were available on the day to speak with members of the public as well as members about their experiences and concerns. We are grateful for the work that groups like Palliative Care Tasmania do in this space within the state. These are difficult conversations but ones that we should all be having with our loved ones at any time in our lives – you never know when it may be too late.
