Several managers have expressed concern about delays in recruitment processes attributed to the adoption of a Statewide Employment Review process. The ANMF has written to the Minister for Health, and the Secretary for the Department of Health, requesting an urgent review of the process. The Secretary has responded acknowledging the frustration felt by managers. He reports that Human Resources are working to identify strategies to support timely recruitment. The ANMF will continue to liaise with Nurse Unit Manager’s to identify process improvements.
