North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) Updates:
Medical Ward Workload Grievance

ANMF members on the Medical Ward at North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) met with management on Thursday 29 August 2019 to discuss progress toward addressing workload, missed meal breaks, skill mix, benchmarking and backfill issues. Members and management discussed a number of solutions and members have agreed to hold off on progressing a step 2 Grievance subject to satisfactory progress in the implementation of the solutions.  You can read the full newsflash including discussion items and proposed solutions here. Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) Updates:
Medical Ward Workload Grievance

A specialist panel meeting was held on Wednesday 7 August 2019, to discuss issues relating to an unresolved workload grievance on the Mersey Community Hospital Medical Ward and to identify solutions. Members and management discussed and agreed to a number of solutions, you can read these here. To date there has been some progress made toward addressing issues relating to workload, however some solutions remain outstanding. The ANMF have requested an update from management and will be in touch with Workplace Representatives and members once this has been received.
