This training has been designed for experienced Workplace Representatives who have completed both the Back to Basics and Advancing Your Role training. This session is designed to empower our most advanced Reps and provide them with the tools required to be leaders in their profession and workplace, to be individuals who can successfully win positive outcomes for their colleagues.

By the end of the day you will have gained 6 CPD hours and advanced your knowledge in the following areas:

• Industrial campaigning to achieve outcomes for members
  • Types of campaigns
  • Campaign planning
  • Tools required to run a successful campaign
  • Keys to a successful campaign
• Negotiation skills
  • Principles of fairness
  • Being prepared for the negotiations
  • The art of negotiating
  • Reaching an agreement, failing to agree and dispute resolution
  • What happens after negotiations conclude.
• Empowerment and the benefits of this in the workplace
• Leadership – What makes a good leader and how can you become a positive leader in your workplace?
• The opportunity for those who complete this training to attend the ANMF Branch Council sitting as an observer. This will open the possibility for you to run for Council should you wish to.

Please note: There is no parking available onsite at any of the above locations, you will need to factor this into your schedule for the day. A morning snack and small lunch will be available throughout the day.
