The ANMF wish to thank members for their input and co-operation on this matter and advise that a letter of reply will be sent to management. On receipt of a response, the ANMF will conduct report back meetings with members.

Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM)

The ANMF conducted a member meeting in the Department of Emergency (DEM) on Tuesday 17 September 2019. Members raised concerns regarding workloads and staffing issues. The ANMF have since relayed these concerns directly to management and received some constructive feedback. The ANMF will continue to work on behalf of members, in co-operation with management to progress the key areas of concern as quickly as possible. The ANMF will conduct report back meetings with members once we have received a response to our correspondence.

Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC)

The ANMF met with members in Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) on Wednesday 25 September 2019, to collate feedback on the workplace flexibility agreement. The agreement is aimed at finalising the conversion of staff from day workers to hybrid-shift workers. The general consensus was that staff are happy to proceed with the agreement. This has been conveyed to both management and human resources. The ANMF invite continued communication and feedback from members throughout this process as it continues to unfold.

ANMF Representatives Meeting

The ANMF conducted the first of a new series of monthly meetings with Workplace Representatives (Reps) at the RHH on Friday 13 September 2019. This catchup proved to be a valuable opportunity for Reps to share their perspectives and experiences. These meetings will continue on a monthly basis and all RHH Reps are encouraged to attend and/or contribute to the agenda and action plan moving forward. We look forward to seeing you there.

Change Proposal – Governance Structure: Adult Mental Health Services

The ANMF have been collating feedback across several sites affected by the change proposal which is seeking a change in governance structure across Adult Mental Health Services. However, given the broad scope of this proposal, the ANMF invite members to forward their thoughts and concerns directly to us. If you would like to do this, please email membersupport@anmftas.org.au or phone our Member Support Team on (03)6223 6777.
