Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Updates

Wellington Centre Outpatient Clinics
The ANMF conducted a member meeting in the Wellington Clinics on Wednesday 13 November. This meeting was well attended and provided a great opportunity for staff to interact with Southern Organiser James King. If you would like to arrange a visit from James, along with his great supply of ANMF pens, please get in touch with the ANMF to lock in a time.

Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM)
The ANMF conducted a very well attended member meeting in RHH DEM on Thursday 14 November. This meeting generated some great conversation regarding patient flow, ramping, staffing, and general workloads. The ANMF will be following up with RHH management on some of the issues raised. We will also be progressing a Step 1 Workload Grievance in consultation with members.

Ward 3A – Paediatrics
The ANMF welcome the news that additional permanent and fixed-term contracts totaling approximately 10.0 FTE will soon be advertised for Ward 3A. The ANMF will endeavor to re-visit the unit soon to follow up on progress of this matter, in the meantime if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Member Support Team.
