Are you a retired nurse living in Tasmania? The Tasmanian Government with the assistance of the ANMF are building a database of healthcare professionals who are willing and able to assist if a COVID-19 outbreak sees a significant staff shortage in our public hospitals.
Are you a retired nurse able to assist if needed?
On the 23 March 2020, the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) called on us to assist with operations for a Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. THS have asked the ANMF to contact retired members to gauge if they would be willing and able to assist in the case that an outbreak should see significant staff shortages at any of the states public hospitals and/or facilities.
We are surveying our recently retired members who may be willing to be contacted by the THS in such an event. If you can, please follow the link below. Please note that in agreeing to assist the THS, this does not guarantee you will be contacted. Rather it puts you on a list of possible candidates should the time come and THS need to look for staffing solutions outside of their current establishment.
Completing the survey will mean that your details will be shared with the THS to allow them to contact you if necessary. Please complete the survey by clicking here or use the button below.
