Australian Red Cross Blood Service

Concerns have been raised by our members regarding the Australian Red Cross Blood Service’s response to COVID-19. Members have reported that they have been inundated with donors. This is a great response, but it is having an impact on ensuring staff safety regarding physical distancing, as well providing enough personal protection equipment should it be required. Members have raised these concerns as some donors have been able to still donate despite having a cold-like symptoms, such as a cough.

As always, the ANMF are here to assist with members concerns and enquiries. Contact the ANMF Member Support Team if you have any queries.

Updates correct as at 1 April 2020.
