Enterprise Agreement Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT)
The ANMF received confirmation from MCT management that the draft agreements will be provided, along with a wage offer, on 12 June 2020. On receipt of the agreements, the ANMF will review and then provide advice to members on the next steps.
Calvary Health Care Tasmania
The ANMF received correspondence from Calvary on May 20, 2020 and have scheduled an EA meeting for 29 May 2020. The ANMF will provide further information to members once we have analysed Calvary’s response.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS)
The ANMF have received a final draft agreement from management, there is a further drafting meeting tomorrow. Once the drafting is completed, a ballot of employees will be held.
The District Nurses
The ANMF are waiting on a reply from management to our request to commence meaningful EA activities. The ANMF Organiser has briefed the Workplace Representative on a plan for member consultation. The ANMF looks forward to holding a meeting with members when possible.
Healthscope
The ANMF have submitted your log of claims and are waiting on a response from management. The Organiser will be looking to consult with Workplace Representatives and members as soon as a response is received.
Glenview Home
The nurses enterprise agreement was voted up by members at ballot. The ANMF are waiting on final paperwork prior to submitting the agreement to Fair Work Commission.
Hobart Day Surgery
The ANMF have attended meetings with management over the past 2 weeks, with good progress being made toward an offer for members’ consideration. The ANMF will be in touch with members as soon as all parties are across the details of the proposed draft agreement.
South Eastern Community Care
The ANMF are still awaiting a response from management or their bargaining agent about the restart of talks.
Hobart Clinic
The employer has been asked to address some undertakings prior to final Approval of the agreement to Fair Work Commission.
Bupa
The ANMF is still waiting on a response from the employer regarding continuing negotiations.
Corumbene Nursing Home
The ANMF attended a bargaining meeting with Corumbene management via teleconference on 21 April 2020 and are still awaiting management’s response to your log of claims.
Salvation Army Barrington Lodge
The ballot was completed, with only 3 ballot papers returned. Of the 3 valid votes, 100% approved the agreement. The ANMF have lodge the required paperwork with the Fair Work Commission and are awaiting approval of the Agreement.
Menarock Aged Care Services
The ANMF have received a wage offer from Menarock management, which has been decreased to 1.8%. The ANMF have had discussions with management and they have agreed to go back to the Board regarding the pay rise and respond to the ANMF’s concerns with the current agreement.
The Eye Hospital
The ANMF are advised that CURA have lodged the agreement with the Fair Work Commission (FWC). The ANMF have lodged the required paperwork in support of the application for approval of the agreement and the process is now in the hands of the FWC. We will advise once the Agreement has been finalised.
Medea Park Residential Care
On Wednesday 20 May 2020, the ANMF participated in a teleconference with Medea Park management to discuss outstanding matters in relation to bargaining for a replacement Medea Park Nurses Agreement. The ANMF has now scheduled a member meeting via teleconference for Friday 29 May 2020 to discuss the offer from the employer and seek members’ position on a way forward. May Shaw General Staff – Scottsdale
The ANMF have received confirmation via the Fair Work Commission of the approval of the May Shaw Health Centre Inc. Non Nursing Staff Agreement – Scottsdale 2019. Please click here to read the Agreement.
May Shaw Nurses – Scottsdale
May Shaw management have confirmed the current wages schedule. The ANMF are now able to check that the proposed agreement reflects the agreed pay rates and allowances. Once checked the May Shaw management will progress the agreement to ballot.
Eskleigh Nurses
The ANMF has been in contact with Eskleigh management and can confirm that the wage rates in the proposed draft agreement will incorporate the balance of the Fair Work Commission wage increase of 2017. On receipt of the draft agreement with the updated rates, the ANMF will provide members with a summary of the agreed terms and the proposed dates for ballot.
Tandara Lodge
The ANMF presented the log of claims to Tandara management yesterday, 25 May 2020. They have made a wage offer of 4%, 3% and 3%, and will provide a response in writing to the balance of the log of claims.
