Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Updates
Ward 5A
The ANMF have been raising workload concerns at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Ward 5A for a considerable period of time. To date numerous additional resources have been implemented to assist with the concerns related to skill mix.
Whilst we understand that due to the current COVID-19 crisis the ward cohort of patients has changed, we are committed to ensuring that once business returns to normal our members feel that workloads are manageable. In the week commencing 11 May 2020, the ANMF will be sending an email out to all members identified as working at the LGH Ward 5A to gather feedback on the long standing workload concerns.
Once this feedback is collated it will provide the ANMF with further direction on where the current grievance remains. We will advise all members, by email, of the outcome of feedback received. We would like to thank all of our members who we acknowledge are working so hard in what are such challenging conditions.
Updates correct as at 13 May 2020.
