COVID-19 Aged Care Update

Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians, Senator Richard Colbeck has written to Aged Care providers to thank them for their efforts during the period of COVID-19 (Read the letter here). However, the ANMF note that the risk of COVID-19 is far from over, this is particularly apparent given the situation in Victoria and NSW.

The ANMF wish to thank all of our members who continue to provide care and support for residents and clients receiving aged care assistance during these uncertain times. Workloads have been at a peak during the pandemic, particualry with tmany workplaces imposing additional screening requirements for visitors, this does not go unnoticed and we will continue to support you during these unusual and stressful times.
