Public Sector Updates – North West

North West Regional Hospital – Operating Room Suite

The ANMF raised workload concerns of members in the Operating Theatres, including difficulties in taking meal breaks, with Tasmanian Health Service Management (THS).  Initial benchmarking indicates an increase of 7 FTE is required to meet ACORN standards. Consultation meetings have been held to discuss the next steps including the development of a proposed roster and staff survey. Watch out for the survey in your inbox.  If you think you need to update your details please email membership@anmftas.org.au let them know your name your membership is held under, your member number (if known), your current workplace and email address.

Updates correct as at 17 September 2020.
