Reform and Workload Grievance Update
In 2021, the ANMF will continue to meet with members and consult with management on behalf of members in relation to the Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Project (TMHRP). Presently a response to feedback received in relation to proposed changes is being reviewed by members and the ANMF. Additional responses specifically to three letters sent by the ANMF are currently being reviewed and an email update will be sent to members with the details of these responses in the coming days. The latest update detailing the most recent changes, can be seen here.
A meeting is scheduled for Friday 8 January 2021 for the purpose of discussing the response to feedback provided and to give members the opportunity to provide a response to the proposals. The ANMF acknowledges that this has been a long and slow process for our members, but we are pleased that parties have been consulting in good faith. That being said, the ANMF are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our members and we will not hesitate to escalate outstanding matters if it should become necessary. If you have any questions, please contact our Member Support Team or ANMF Organiser Jenna Bowling via email here.
