Public Sector Updates – North West

Mersey Community Hospital Emergency Department

ANMF officials met with Tasmanian Health Service management and ANMF members on 8 February 2021, to review the benchmarking data. Members voted to endorse the 2019 benchmarking data which reflects a 1.31 increase in FTE.  Members subsequently raised a list of questions regarding the data that requires further investigation. The ANMF will raise these concerns at the next Statewide Safe Staffing Meetings. Members will be kept informed of the progress via email updates.

Community Rapid Response Service

On 10 February, North West Organiser, Annette Beechey met with members from the Community Rapid Response Service (ComRRS) to discuss professional and industrial issues. The ANMF will continue to support and advocate on behalf of our members working in ComRRS.

Updates correct as at 18 February 2021.
