Mersey Community Hospital

Emergency Department

The ANMF has been advocating for members working at the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) Emergency Department (ED) at the statewide ED Nursing Hours per Patient Day (NHpPD) Working Party. For details click here.

Hospital Theatre and DSU Redevelopment

ANMF officials attended the Mersey Community Hospital Operating Theatre and DSU redevelopment joint consultative committee meeting on behalf of members. Members are reminded that workplace representatives can be invited to attend these meetings. Any member wishing to attend should contact ANMF Organiser, Annette Beechy via email.

Medical Ward AIN Implementation Committee

ANMF officials will attend the first Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Implementation Committee meeting on behalf of members. Member representatives can be invited to attend these meetings. Any member wishing to attend should contact ANMF Organiser, Annette Beechy via email.

North West Regional Hospital

Paediatric Unit – Step 1 Grievance

A response to professional and industrial concerns including safe staffing and skill mix raised by ANMF on behalf of  members has been received. On April 28, members views to the response will be sought at a meeting on the Paediatric Unit.

North West Renal Unit

The ANMF has been advocating for members working at the Renal Unit Northwest regarding 2020 benchmarking. The ANMF is pleased to advise that the business case for additional staff has been approved by the Tasmanian Health Service Executive. Professional and industrial issues will be discussed at a member meeting on 6 May 2021. Read the latest update here.
