Operating Room Suite

On Tuesday 18 May, the ANMF will attend the Operating Room Suite (ORS) benchmarking meeting. ANMF is currently assessing the results from the second workload survey commissioned to assess for improvements in workloads following the December 2020 survey. There is still a live Step 1 Grievance pending and the ANMF is also assessing workload forms already received, to provide information for these discussions. The information provided in both surveys will inform discussion at the benchmarking process for the 2021 staffing profile. Further updates to follow.

Emergency Department

The ANMF have secured a win for Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Department (ED) members with 21.3 FTE to be allocated to fix workload concerns related to safety and bed block.
