North West Regional Hospital

Operating Theatres

The ANMF has received  a response to the Step 1 workload Grievance in the Operating Suite. The ANMF awaits confirmation of a meeting date where proposed solutions to the grievance, along with staffing models inclusive of benchmarking will be presented. Click here to view the latest update.

Paediatric Unit

Meetings continue to address workload concerns and progress resolution for members from NWRH paediatric unit. The next working party meeting is scheduled for 29 July 2021. Members are encouraged to provide feedback to their Workplace Representative who attends the meetings along with ANMF officials.

Emergency Department (ED)

The ANMF, THS management and ED nurses attended a benchmarking meeting on Thursday 22 July where the data for a full year to June 2021 was presented.

Surgical Ward – Step 1 Grievance

The ANMF officials met with Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management as part of a working party to discuss member concerns. Member representatives will be invited to attend once a date has been set, should you wish to receive an invite please email annette.beechey@anmftas.org.au
