Healthcare Mandatory Vaccinations

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) has written to the Secretary of the Department of Health seeking answers to a number of questions. Once that information is received, further advice will be provided to members.

The ANMF has also requested that representatives of the Department of Health run a number of forums where staff can ask questions about the vaccine and their particular concerns. We would hope that these sessions might be run remotely allowing large number of employees to participate.

If scheduled, we would encourage all concerned members (employed in the Tasmanian Health Service) to attend these sessions, and to feel free to ask any questions they have about the vaccine and its safety.

We will provide an update to members once we have a response to this request.
