Healthscope

Hobart Private Hospital – Healthscope Enterprise Agreement (EA)

The ANMF is waiting to hear from Healthscope about the next EA meeting to be held. The ANMF encourages members to fill in workload forms for any workload issues. Members can also contact our Member Support Team by emailing membersupport@anmftas.org.au if you have any workplace issues.

Maternity Ward

The ANMF held a zoom meeting with Maternity ward members to discuss feedback the ANMF had with management. The meeting was well attended. The ANMF plans to have a further discussion with management regarding the members continuing concerns over workloads.

Calvary South

St John’s Hospital – Gibson Ward

The ANMF has collated the recent workload survey. A meeting has been organised for 24 November 2021 with management to discuss issues raised from the survey.

Calvary North

The ANMF met with the Director of Clinical Services and General Manager at Calvary. Calvary has still not yet recognised the workload issues that exist on St John’s ward, St James’ ward and Theatre. The ANMF will be collecting workload data in a collection period from 29 November – 10 December, 2021. We urge all members to collect the information which is needed to demonstrate your workload concerns.

Lifeblood – Launceston donor centre

A survey was issued to all members for their feedback regarding the proposal to amend shift times at Lifeblood Launceston donor centre. Members completing this survey indicated that they did not have concerns with the proposed change. An ANMF member meeting was not requested by members at this time.

Family Planning Tasmania (FPT)

The ANMF attended the Enterprise Agreement (EA) meeting on 2 November 2021. The wage offer of 2% was rejected by members. FPT put forward a further offer of 2.5% after discussion from ANMF and ASU. This offer is being put to members by the ANMF for presentation at the next meeting on 17 November.

TasIVF

The ANMF attended an EA meeting on 3 November 2021. TasIVF is still adamant that 2% per annum over 4 years is all they can offer as a wage increase. TasIVF is still considering the Post Graduate Certificate allowance. The ANMF requested TasIVF to insert a pandemic leave clause which is not currently in the Agreement. A member meeting was held on 8 November 2021, where this offer was rejected. The ANMF will put in writing members concerns around the RN Level 2 grade, pandemic leave clause and the wage offer before the next EA meeting on 17 November 2021.

Updates correct as at 11 November 2021.
