Lenah Valley Endoscopy Unit

The ANMF attended an update meeting on Thursday 21 April 2022. From the discussion it appears that Calvary have some good processes in place and are actively recruiting staff. The ANMF understands that current staff are being upskilled and educated in areas that may be unfamiliar. Lenah Valley Maternity Ward

The ANMF has been informed of the excessive workloads on the Maternity Ward and have sent a workload survey to members to gain an insight into the current workloads. The survey closed at 0900hrs on Thursday 28 April 2022 and the results of the survey will be communicated to members. If members have any concerns in the meantime, please contact our Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Healthscope Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospitals

The ANMF attended the Healthscope Workload Consultative Committee Meeting on Wednesday 20 April 2022.

Discussion centred around:

How the WCC will work
WCC members
Workload form to be updated and revised
Data provided by Healthscope for St Helen’s Hospital and Hobart Private Hospital
Current workload issues
Communications to employees

The ANMF actively encourages any interested members to nominate to be a regular contributor/participant on the committee. North West Private Hospital

Operating Theatre

The ANMF, on behalf of members from the Operating Theatre at North West Private Hospital (NWPH), has formally raised a number of workload concerns with NWPH management. Members will be notified once a response has been received and further meetings to seek direction and discuss next steps will be convened.
