Healthscope Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospitals

The ANMF has been notified by Healthscope that the next Workload Consultative Committee Meeting has changed and will now be held on Wednesday 25 May 2022 from 1100-1230hrs in Room 327 or via Zoom.

The ANMF reminds members to fill in the ANMF workload survey form. The date has been extended until Thursday 19 May 2022.

The ANMF visited Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospital on International Day of the Midwife on May 5 and International Nurses Day on May 12. We thank all nurses and midwives for their hard work and commitment to caring for the Tasmanian community.

North West Private Hospital (NWPH)

Operating Theatre

The ANMF met with members from the Operating Theatre at North West Private Hospital (NWPH) to discuss the response from the formally raised workloads concerns. Members will be sent a workload survey in coming days to ascertain the extent of the concerns. Keep an eye out for the survey in your inbox.

Calvary South

Lenah Valley Maternity Ward

The ANMF thanks members for completing the recent Maternity Workload Survey and we intend to contact management about the issues on maternity as raised in the survey. If members have any concerns in the meantime, please contact our Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Lenah Valley and St John’s

The ANMF visited the maternity ward on International Day of the Midwife on May 5 and all other wards and departments on International Nurses Day on Thursday 12 May 2022. The ANMF thanks all our hard-working nurses and midwives for the hard work and dedication they do every day to keep the Tasmanian community safe.

Calvary – Northern Hospitals

The ANMF will be meeting with Calvary on Thursday 19 May 2022 and Thursday 26 May 2022 to resolve workload issues felt by members.
