Calvary Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals

Calvary has developed a Nursing Workload Response Flowchart to assist staff with situations arising on the shift relating to insufficient staffing, inappropriate skill mix/change in patient acuity, and inability to take meal breaks. This Flowchart should be available for staff to access on each ward/unit and Calvary will also be sending this information out to all staff shortly. The ANMF will also be communicating to members regarding this. If members have any issues or concerns please contact our Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

The ANMF has been informed that a meeting took place with Management and Maternity staff. The meeting was seen by management to have been productive with a good discussion between staff and management. Healthscope

The next Workload Consultative Committee (WCC) will be held on Wednesday 27 July 2022 from 1100-1230hrs. The meeting will be held in Room 327 or via a Zoom link. If you are interested in attending please contact Organiser Jane Pond via email at jane.pond@anmftas.org.au

The ANMF reminds members to continue to complete the Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospitals workload forms for discussion at these meetings. If members have any issues with workloads or any other matter please contact our Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Lifeblood

The ANMF has sent a survey to members regarding the Log of Claims (LoC) to be put forward to management regarding the next Enterprise Agreement (EA). The current EA is due to expire by 31 December 2022. Member meetings will be held to discuss the claims shortly. The survey closed on Wednesday 20 July 2022. If you did not receive a survey, please contact Organiser Jane Pond via email at jane.pond@anmftas.org.au
