Patient Escorts for Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT)

On 4 November 2022, the ANMF received a response from Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management regarding concerns identified in association with THS’ NEPT program and the requirement for nurses to provide clinical support in applicable cases. By and large, this letter failed to address the issues raised by the ANMF, instead the employer has pledged to consult more broadly before providing an update by Friday 25 November 2022. All correspondence to date on this matter will be forwarded to all members via Newsflash as soon as practicable.
