ANMF Newsflash: Public Sector Negotiations Enterprise Agreement Update 1

  • Meeting to be scheduled on either 19 or 20 December 2022 (to be confirmed) to present the ANMF Log of Claims (LoC) as previously endorsed by members.
  • Meetings to be scheduled at fortnightly intervals once negotiations continue after the new year. The ANMF will advise of the meeting schedule following the negotiation meeting in December 2022.
  • Meetings will be set up in themes that can be explored and negotiated individually. These themes will likely be the ones set out in the ANMF LoC being, salaries and related matters, workforce matters, workload matters, hours of work matters, allowance matters, penalty matters, leave and holidays, safety, and wellbeing.

Whilst it was mentioned that there are numerous other public sector negotiations occurring at this time, the ANMF made it very clear that we see that as no barrier to prioritising and swiftly progressing the Nurses and Midwives negotiations. The ANMF were ready to present their LoC at bargaining on 17 November 2022, The ANMF are ready to negotiate, and it is a key priority to ensure there are no extended and unnecessary delays.
