Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood

ANMF Tasmania and ANMF Victoria have held discussions around an outstanding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from the last Enterprise Agreement (EA), with Lifeblood management. This MOU was to review the role of the Registered Nurse (RN) grade 3 against the Donor Services Clinical Supervisor grade 3 when the Session Leader and/or Donor Centre Manager are not registered nurses (RNs).

Lifeblood have committed to interviewing grade 3 RNs across two sites in Tasmania and three sites in Victoria where this practice occurs regularly.

The ANMF has requested Lifeblood provide a copy of the report that results from this process.

Updates correct as at 12 January 2023.
