EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Uniting AgeWell (UAW)
The ANMF is advised that the employer has decided to re-ballot the agreement that failed to reach agreement in late 2022. Meal breaks remain a sticking point for members. We again suggest that members vote NO. Click here to view the latest update.
Calvary Health Care Tasmania
The ANMF has received notice that Calvary will reply to your Log of Claims (LoC) by the first week of March 2023. Meetings will be booked with members across all campuses the following week to discuss Calvary’s response. Please ensure you have updated your membership details if you have recently commenced employment with Calvary so you will receive all relevant notices for your workplace.
Respect Aged Care
The ANMF is still awaiting a date and time for the commencement of bargaining.
Regis
The Regis Enterprise Agreement offer was rejected just prior to Christmas 2022. The ANMF are awaiting a response from Regis for the next step.
Mary Ogilvy Home for the Aged
Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining has been pushed back to March 2023 by Mary Ogilvy management.
South Eastern Community Care (SECC)
The ANMF has approached Quartz Consulting to recommence bargaining. We are awaiting a response from SECC/Quartz to your counteroffer.
Calvary Community Care – Non-Nurses
The ANMF has been made aware that HACSU disputed the right of the ANMF to represent workers, as a bargaining agent to the Enterprise Agreement (EA), in this area. The ANMF believe workers holding a Certificate III and above are entitled to ANMF representation.
May Shaw Scottsdale
The ANMF met with members on Thursday 16 February 2023 to discuss current EA negotiations. We note that May Shaw are yet to table any discussions around a wage offer. Once the ANMF is in receipt of a wage offer we will meet with members to discuss this offer in full.
May Shaw Swansea
The ANMF met with members at May Shaw Swansea on Tuesday 14 February 2023. The meeting was well attended, with discussions around the latest EA update 2 summary. Members views about each offer have been noted by the bargaining team and once EA drafting is complete and bargaining begins in earnest, the ANMF will present members’ counteroffer. EA meetings continue fortnightly with the next one due on 2 March 2023.
Meercroft Care
The ANMF, on behalf of members at Meercroft Care, have developed a Log of Claims (LOC) for the upcoming Enterprise Agreement (EA). The ANMF will be onsite on Tuesday 28 February 2023 at 1100hrs to discuss the LOC, please come along and have your say.
