Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

K10 East (General Medical)

The ANMF will conduct a member meeting in the RHH General Medical Unit K10 East between 1400-1430hrs on Thursday 23 February 2023. All members as well as new and prospective members are welcome to attend for general discussion regarding current nursing issues/considerations.

Neurosurgical Unit K8 West

On Tuesday 14 February 2023, the ANMF attended a benchmarking meeting in presence of relevant Tasmanian Health Service (THS) stakeholders for RHH K8 West Neurosurgical Unit. The suggested outcome of this process is for staffing to remain unaltered at a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) of 43.62 (consistent with outcomes of the 2021 benchmarking process). An ANMF member meeting is set to follow for broader discussion regarding these outcomes with date, time and venue to be confirmed via a separate newsflash update soon.
