Launceston General Hospital (LGH)

D Block

On Monday 20 February 2023, the ANMF requested an update from the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) regarding progress toward mitigating heat issues within D block at the LGH. Read the full update.

John L Grove Rehabilitation Unit (JLGRU)

The ANMF are now in receipt of the THS response to the JLGRU Step 1 Grievance raised by members on Thursday 22 December 2022. Read the full update.

Benchmarking

The ANMF, in the lead up to Easter, is attending several nursing workload benchmarking meetings at the LGH. These include, 5A, 3D, JLGRU, 4D, 3R, Northern Coronary Care Unit (NCCU), Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Renal. The ANMF will be scheduling follow up meetings with members to discuss the newly proposed benchmarking. Members will be notified of the meeting dates and times shortly.
