The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) is holding its annual Acute Care Conference TOMORROW at the C3 Convention Centre, South Hobart with over 100 Acute Care health professionals, ANMF staff, guest speakers and sponsors attending from around the state.

The conference is a significant event in the Tasmanian healthcare calendar, uniting nursing and midwifery professionals, experts, educators, and students. It is a celebration of the passion and dedication of the Tasmanian healthcare community. Keynote Speaker Dr Warrick Bishop (Practicing Cardiologist and Best-Selling Author) will undertake a presentation about Heart Failure, with the line-up of guest speakers covering a wide range of topics.

ANMF Tasmania Branch Secretary and HERC CEO Emily Shepherd, who is opening the conference, said “The conference is an opportunity for us to celebrate the incredible work of our nursing and midwifery community. It’s a chance to reflect on our achievements, share knowledge, and collaborate on building a better future for healthcare in Tasmania.”

“Furthermore, attendees will be able to engage with likeminded professionals and guest speakers who will be sharing insights on the latest developments in the acute care field.” Ms Shepherd said.
