Launceston General Hospital (LGH)

Workload Grievances

There are several outstanding grievances currently at the LGH. The ANMF is negotiating with the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services (EDNMS) to address issues. Discussions include clinical coach support, COVID-19 positions, and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) support. Further newsflash updates soon.

Specialist Panel Updates

Ward 5D

The Chief Executive of Hospitals North and EDNMS request a reconvening of the Ward 5D Specialist Panel. The Panel will review and refine the current recommendations. Further updates to be provided via a newsflash and a member meeting.

Ward 6D

Specialist Panel proceeding; the ANMF is negotiating with management to address workload concerns. Further updates will be provided through a newsflash and follow up member meeting.

North East Soldiers Memorial Hospital

Workload Discussion

The ANMF is meeting with North East Soldiers Memorial Hospital (NESMH) members on Monday 4 December 2023. The meeting will focus on current workload data collection and a plan for resolution. Updates will be communicated via a newsflash after the meeting.
