Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

The ANMF has been contacted by ANMF RHH members regarding the security of their belongings while at work. A motivated member has commenced a petition to lobby RHH management to provide security solutions for this ongoing issue that has had many hardworking member’s belongings stolen while at work. If you wish to offer your support to these members then please sign the petition.

General Medical Unit (K10E)

On Tuesday 19 December 2023, the ANMF conducted a member meeting and wrote to Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management on Friday 22 December 2023 to advise about escalation of the current Workload and Staffing Grievance to Step 2. A THS response dated Friday 22 December 2023 has been received and all correspondence has been sent to members via a Newsflash update which was sent on Monday 8 January 2024. A request has been sent to K10 East management for another meeting to be held at the earliest convenience, once confirmed members will be advised of the date/time for this to occur.

The ANMF encourage members to report any increase in double shifts, overtime, or unsuitable skill mix to the ANMF via the promotional flyers displayed at your facility. Alternatively you can contact your ANMF Southern Organiser by phoning (o3) 6223 6777.
