Toosey Aged and Community Care

The ANMF were concerned to hear reports of workplace issues. Members are encouraged to report alleged substandard care here. If members have further concerns to raise, please attend the member meeting that will be scheduled in the coming week/s or contact Northern Organiser Nicki Hood via email at nicki.hood@anmftas.org.au.

Calvary Aged Care

Members are encouraged to report under staffing, workload concerns and any other workplace matters via the Calvary Aged Care Survey available here. This data will be de-identified before the ANMF approach the Calvary CEO for Tasmania to discuss your concerns.

North West

ANMF Member Engagement Officer Kathy continues to visit aged care sites across the coast to distribute flyers promoting the Nurses & Midwives Health Aged Care Excellence Awards 2024, which gives the ANMF an opportunity to recognise the wonderful care provide by our Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).

ANMF Representatives recently visited Strathdevon and Emmerton Park, and next week will be visiting Coroneagh. Please do not hesitate to contact Kathy via email at Kathryn.Jarvis@anmftas.org.au if you wish to arrange a catch up or meeting at your site, even if we have just recently been to your worksite, we are happy to visit again.

Also, don’t forget the ANMF/HERC Tasmanian Aged Care Conference in Hobart on Wednesday 15 May 2024. Early Bird registrations are open and for those that register early you can go into the draw to win a hamper valued at $200. Promotional flyers with the QR code to register have been distributed across aged care sites. Please make sure you scan the code to check out the details and register your spot.
