Parkside Air Quality Concerns

THS response

An independent environmental service company has provided certified reports in relation to Asbestos exposure, Occupational Dust and Silica exposure. The asbestos test was negative. The dust level was assessed at 0.01 in one location against a standard acceptable level of 3.0. There was no Silica reported in the testing results. The drilling activity is restricted to weekends & public holidays with 75% of the drilling completed. Further testing will be undertaken before, during and after the drilling activities. The project team will continue to monitor the effects of the construction activities on site. If members have further concerns, please raise them in the first instance with the building manager or email the ANMF Member Support team.
