EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Regis Aged Care
Following a successful ballot Regis proceeded to register the replacement industrial instrument with Fair Work. To date no outcome has been provided by Regis. Once the ANMF has the notification from Fair Work the new agreement will be located on our website.
Respect Aged Care
Negotiations continue for a replacement industrial instrument. At the last meeting, Respect has offered the following conditions improvements:
- A night shift penalty rate of 17.5%. This represents an improvement at those facilities where the night shift penalty rate is currently only 15%.
- Increasing the family and domestic violence leave entitlement to 20 days paid leave.
- Inclusion of a jacket/vest/cardigan in the uniforms.
The ANMF will continue to push for a strong outcome for all members in further negotiation meetings.
Salvation Army Barrington Lodge

Calvary Home Care
Scheduled negotiation meetings are occurring, in which Calvary has provided minimal feedback to the Log of Claims (LoC). Wages and allowances are expected to be tabled at the forthcoming bargaining meeting scheduled for Wednesday 3 July 2024. Once these details have been provided the ANMF will meet with members to receive your comments around the discussions that have occurred to date.
Aged Care Deloraine
The ANMF will be in workplaces early next week seeking member feedback/endorsement of the employer offer. We encourage all members to provide their feedback so this negotiation can be finalised.
Amplar Virtual Health
Negotiations have commenced for a replacement agreement. At this stage only the LoC has been presented and briefly explained. Amplar Health has also tabled clause variations they will be seeking to have replaced in the current agreement. The next bargaining agreement meeting is tentatively set for Tuesday 16 July 2024.
Melaleuca Home of the Aged
The ANMF attended a meeting with your employer on Monday 24 June 2024, the first in a series of meetings to negotiate your Enterprise Agreement (EA). Your employer has committed to passing on the 3.75% Fair Work minimum wage increase which will apply from Monday 1 July 2024, noting that the EA will be delayed until details of the work value case is provide to all residential aged care facilities.
The ANMF will schedule member meetings immediately after to provide updates and seek members feedback on the offer as a whole. Keep an eye on your inbox for an invite so that you can have your say.
Eskleigh Foundation
Following a successful LoC endorsement meeting the ANMF met your employer who articulated they are keen to proceed with negotiations. The ANMF is endeavouring to facilitate this process as quickly as possible and look forward to having a positive outcome for members to consider in due course.
