Event Celebration: 100 Years of the ANMF
On Thursday 31 October 2024, the ANMF Tasmanian Branch proudly celebrated its centenary, honouring a remarkable legacy of advocacy and support for nurses and midwives. The celebration was hosted by ANMF Tasmanian Branch Secretary Emily Shepherd and included guests such as the Tasmanian Health Minister Jacquie Petrusma, Independent David O’Byrne, and Greens MP Helen Burnet.
The event featured inspiring guest speakers, including ANMF Life Member Lorraine Bailey, who has dedicated over 44 years to the organisation, serving in various leadership roles including Branch Councillor, Vice President, and President.
