The ANMF Tasmanian Branch is the largest voice for Nurses, Midwives, and Care Workers in the state. Our collective strength allows us to represent members working in a range of healthcare settings. About the role
As a Business Support Officer, you will provide administrative support and assistance across the ANMF (Tas) and ensure timely and accurate communication to Members.

You will be based in our Hobart office, working full-time.

As a Business Support Officer, you will: 

  • Manage and process a variety of incoming and outgoing communication to members and stakeholders
  • Assist with administrative processes relating to engagement with members and Workplace Representatives
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of internal meetings
  • Assist with preparation and lodgment of regulatory and compliance documentation
  • Assist with coordination of ANMF (Tas) campaigns, conferences and events
  • Ensure all records are managed appropriately

To be a success in this role you will bring:

  • A relevant qualification and/or demonstrated substantial experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new business systems
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • The ability to engage and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • An understanding of the importance of creating, maintaining, and storing clear and transparent business records
  • The ability to multitask, operate autonomously and seek direction as required
