As part of the Retain Recruit Recognise industrial campaign members in the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) operating theatre passed a resolution to not undertake any forced overtime. This will commence from Monday 15 of October 2018.

From this time ANMF members will review theatre lists at or around 2pm, daily and will reduce the number of planned theatre cases on the afternoon list if the morning list has run over and/or the planned afternoon theatre cases have not been allocated sufficient time for the actual surgery which will result in patients being operated on after hours.
