Michelle Clarke

Biography:
Michelle Clarke is a Clinical Nurse Consultant with the Community Dementia Service, bringing extensive clinical expertise in the caring for older people with complex health needs. With experience spanning Emergency, Acute, Community and Aged Care Sectors, Michelle has used this to provide leadership, education and mentoring in dementia care, and is deeply committed to supporting individuals with dementia to maintain independence and thrive in their own homes.

Passionate about breaking down silos of care, Michelle works tirelessly to promote collaboration across community, acute, and aged care sectors. She believes in fostering closer engagement between stakeholders to create seamless healthcare pathways that improve outcomes for clients. Her “old school” approach to meeting in person and building professional relationships reflects her belief that strong connections between providers lead to better client outcomes.

Michelle is a leader in advocacy in empowering individuals with dementia to “drive their own bus,” ensuring they remain at the centre of their healthcare journey while families and providers serve as supportive passengers. With continued study and involvement with Wiking at Utas, Michelle extends her vision to become a Nurse Practitioner and establish nurse led memory clinics that further enhance care and support for those living with dementia.

Outside of work, Michelle is a dedicated mother, carer, and animal advocate who finds peace in her garden. Her energy and passion for collaborative care, combined with her hands-on approach, continue to impact clients across their healthcare journeys, creating more connected and person-centred dementia care.

Anna Holliday

Biography:
Anna is a passionate leader with over 25 years of experience in the disability and community sectors. Specialising in service design, innovation, and operational management, she has led transformative changes across government and non-government services, particularly for people with disability and their families at the end of life. Committed to genuine inclusion, Anna prioritises co-design and the voices of lived experience, empowering communities to build more inclusive, person-centred environments.

As a dynamic educator, public speaker, and workshop facilitator, Anna ensures participants gain practical, lasting insights. A thought leader in the intersection of disability, health, and person-centred support, she is dedicated to developing high-performing teams and driving solutions-focused change. Anna’s compassionate, public health-driven approach supports individuals and organisations in navigating complex challenges and creating meaningful improvements in care and community systems.

Kadhem Alkhalili
Practitioner - Relationships Australia

Biography:
Kadhem is an experienced practitioner with expertise across various programs at RA Tas including specialist grief and loss services and trauma-informed community counselling. Our facilitators also provide Employee Assistance Programs and Organisational Wellbeing services, along with clinical supervision, to a range of Tasmanian organisations.

Virgina Jones
Member of the Tasmanian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (TASCAT) 

Topic: Guardianship Administration and Application – Including Restrictive Practices
This session will provide critical insights into the legal frameworks guiding decision-making for vulnerable Tasmanians

Biography:
Ms Jones was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Tasmania in 1999. She has degrees in Science and Law. Previously, Ms Jones worked as a Judges Associate (1999 - 2001) before moving into private practice as a Legal Practitioner at Murdoch Clarke (2001 - 2003) and Shields Heritage (2004). She practised in civil and criminal litigation. In late 2004, Ms Jones returned to government as a Legal Practitioner for Tasmania Police where she conducted prosecutions of defendants charged with family violence offences, as well as other offences in the Magistrates Court. In 2005, Ms Jones was employed as Crown Counsel with the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions. She acted and appeared on behalf of the State of Tasmania in criminal matters in the Magistrates and Supreme Courts for over 15 years. In 2017, Ms Jones was appointed as a Member of the Guardianship and Administration Board, and reappointed in 2020, and continues as an ordinary Member of the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Louise Mollross
Deputy President of the Tasmanian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (TASCAT)

Biography:
Louise was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1987 and until November 2024 worked continuously as a barrister and solicitor in private practice at Ogilvie Jennings where she was a director. In November 2024 Louise was appointed to the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal as Deputy President in the Protective Division. Louise had been a sessional member of TASCAT since 2017.

Whilst in private practice Louise was recognised as a Doyle’s guide pre-eminent Tasmania Family Lawyer. She was appointed to act as an independent lawyer in the Federal Circuit Family Court of Australia and as a Separate Representative in the Magistrates Court. She also practiced in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, powers of attorney, property law and commercial law, conveyancing, commercial transactions and mortgages. Louise is a member of the Law Society of Tasmania, Law Council of Australia and Australian Institute of Family Law Mediators. She is the immediate past president of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Tasmania.
