North West Private Hospital Joint Consultative Committee met on 14 February 2019. Workplace Representatives raised several concerns including support for new staff on Bass Ward, the impact of the allocation of the Nurse Unit Manager to cover the After-Hours manager role 1 day / week, and replacement of Level 2 Nurses when on leave. It was agreed that Managers will attempt to replace Level 2 Nurses and that orientation will be reviewed. It was noted that the public holidays over Easter and Anzac Day fall in the one pay period. This will be looked at.
