Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Updates

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The ANMF Tasmanian Branch officials met with members working in the Launceston General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to discuss workload issues. Members endorsed the ANMF to raise their concerns as a workload grievance in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award. The ANMF will continue to advocate for our members who are working under significant workload pressure in the LGH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Angiography Suite
The ANMF Tasmanian Branch officials met with members working in the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Angiography Suite to discuss ongoing workload issues and concerns regarding the On-Call roster. This meeting resulted in members endorsing the ANMF to escalate their current workload grievance to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC). The ANMF will continue to advocate for our members who are working under significant workload pressure at the LGH Angiography Suite.
LGH 5A
The ANMF Tasmanian Branch officials attended a 5A benchmarking meeting. The ANMF will be holding a member meeting to seek feedback from members regarding the outcome of the 5A benchmarking.
